On The Road Again With Drover Athletics!

Three of USAO’s athletic teams are on the schedule for March 3-9.

The men’s track and field team will travel to South Dakota for the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championship. This three-day event will begin March 3-5. USAO will send four athletes to compete in three different events. Aljani Bridgewater, Quintin Pennells, Kalique St. Jean, and Kemoy Willis will compete in the men’s 400-meter, 600-meter, and 4×400 meter relay.

The Drover softball team, ranked third in the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC), is currently 7-2 on the season. The team will participate in the two-day Red Dirt Classic in OKC March 5-6. The game times have not been released yet. After the Red Dirt Classic, the Drovers will take a needed rest day before traveling to MACU for two games March 8. The first game will begin at 1 p.m. and the second game will follow.

USAO baseball, ranked #14 in the SAC, is currently 9-4 on the season. The Drovers will play a home game at the Bill Smith Ballpark March 3 at 6 p.m. against Southwestern Christian University (SCU). The team will then load up March 5 for a pair of away games against SCU in Bethany. The first game will begin at 1 p.m. with the second one following.
