USAO lead for most of the game until Wayland Baptist went on a good run to beat the Drovers 83-77.

The semifinal game ended up being the end for the Drovers but on a high note, Senior Tyler Reynolds broke his career point total in a game, scoring 26 points.

In the first half neither team ever got more than a lead of four. USAO went into halftime with the 38-37 advantage. Points in the paint and second chance points played a big role for the Drovers taking the one-point lead. Senior Jahseth Lloyd and Sophomore David Tucker Jr. both had 13 points in the first half. Lloyd also grabbed seven rebounds and Tucker went 33 percent from the three-point line.

The Drovers couldn’t hold on in the final minutes of the game and lost in a heartbreaker.

USAO gave up the advantage they gained going in to halftime in the second half to Wayland who outscored the Drovers 46-26 for the game. Jahseth Lloyd recorded a double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

USAO misses out and Wayland Baptist moves on to the conference championship versus tournament host, Oklahoma Baptist for the championship and the automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament.
