It took two overtimes, but USAO couldn’t hold on to a 15 point halftime lead.  The Lady Drovers’s season ends on a 98-90 loss to Southwestern Christian.

After only being held to six points in the first half the Sooner Athletic Conference, Freshman Player of the Year, Adrianna White, exploded in the second half ending the game with 34 points.

In the first half, the Drovers got off to a fast start leading Southwestern Christian 37-22 at the intermission. Senior Paige Pulliam led USAO in scoring with 13 points in the first half.  The Drover’s defense did a good job containing White, limiting her to only six points in the first half.

After a good half of play the Drovers lost a 15 point halftime lead when the Eagles started to slowly make a come-back. The Drovers were down by three when they inbounded to Pulliam and she sank a clutch three to take the game into a second overtime. However, the Eagles finished the game on a 8-5 run to seal the victory.

The Drovers may have lost and their season may be over, but Pulliam ends her career on a high note by joining the 1000 point club.
