USAO Lady Drovers Rope The SAGU Lions In Pink Out Game

The Drovers (4-11, 3-9) got their fourth win of the season by beating Southwestern Assemblies of God (11-15, 5-8), 65-63.
Starting sophomore guard Brooke Worcester left the game in an ambulance at the 11:28 mark in the first half but USAO found a way to beat a tough Lions team.
The Drovers got it done offensively behind the arc, shooting 20 three-pointers in the first half and 19 in the second. USAO ended the game shooting 38.5 percent from behind the three-point line.
Senior Paige Pulliam and sophomore Sami Martin both ended the game with 18 points. The duo shot 8-18 from the three-point line, assisted on five field goals, and recorded 10 rebounds.
Nia Watson was the Lions leading scorer with 22 points. Taylor Hill wasn’t too far behind scoring 19 points and going 3-6 behind the arc.
The Drovers next game is on the road at Northwood University (Texas) on Feb. 6. USAO returns home to face Oklahoma Baptist on Feb. 10 with the girls playing at 6 p.m. and the guys at 8 p.m.
