Winter Weather Cause for Campus Cancellations

Due to inclement weather warnings, many events on campus scheduled for tonight have been posted. The USAO Show Band Concert will no longer take place tonight. It will be rescheduled, but the time and date is yet to be determined. The History and Zombie Survivalist Clubs have also canceled tonight’s game night scheduled on campus. The next game night will take place the last Friday in January, according to faculty club leader Dr. Kevin Crow.

According to the Weather Channel website, today’s weather conditions in Chickasha will be very cold. Today it will be windy with periods of freezing drizzle and light freezing rain. Temperature will stay around the mid 30s, with a 40% chance of perception. The same type of weather is expected for the rest of the weekend, including a wintry mix of snow and rain on Sunday with a 90% chance of precipitation.
