The votes are in and the student-selected finalists are picked for 2013 Homecoming. The queen candidates, in no specific order, are Maggie Wilson, Kelsea Malette and Maïtè Miller. The king candidates, in no specific order, are Dexter Nelson II, Matt Crow and Rory Barron.

Maggie Wilson is a senior English major nominated by the Baptist Collegiate Ministry.

Kelsea Malette is a senior Art major nominated by Sigma Psi Omega.

Maïtè Miller is a sophomore Biology major nominated by Student Government Association.

Dexter Nelson II is a senior History major nominated by Student Government Association.

Matt Crow is a senior Physics major nominated by Baptist Collegiate Ministry.

Rory Barron is a senior Biology major nominated by Biology & Associated Sciences Club.

Elections kick off Wednesday during lunch. More information will posted in a bio in the cafeteria during voting. Voting will be open Wednesday through Friday. The Student Activities Board (SAB) will be taking votes electronically using the same survey tool as used during preliminary voting.

Along with the election, the 2013 Homecoming t-shirts will be available for purchase.

King and Queen will be crowned at halftime during the Men’s basketball game.
