During their time at the National Media Convention the Trend staff explored Bourbon street, listened to guest speakers and ate some good Louisiana food.

After a late night of walking Bourbon Street, drinking great coffee, and people watching I packed my things for the early morning ahead.

We left for the airport at 7:45 Saturday morning.  We left New Orleans with its vast diversity and strong culture behind us.

By day, the city seemed calm and routine allowing time to take in the architecture.

By night, it took a complete 180 into the crazy, strange, and loud mix of people who appeared to be from all walks of life.

Some of us are glad to be back in Oklahoma.  Others wish they could have stayed there in all the excitement.  I, myself, am unsure of where I stand.

One thing is certain, we learned a great deal at this year’s media convention.  We had the opportunity to listen to professionals from across the country, and we will definitely apply what they have taught us.
