Scholarships Are Open!
Enrollment for the 2025-2026 fall trimester is right around the corner which means the end of the school year is upon USAO students; and then, basically, it will be the fall trimester because of how fast life moves.
Soon students will be entering another academic year. A new year brings new opportunities, new classes, new challenges, and a new bill for the trimester.
One of the stresses that weighs on students is how they are going to pay their bill. Luckily the USAO Foundation and Alumni Association help students with their scholarships, which are open to all returning students for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The Foundation scholarships and Alumni scholarships are two totally different scholarship applications.
The Foundation Scholarship Application:
- Open until the start of the fall 2025 trimester.
- Applications received after June 30, 2025, are subject to availability of remaining funds because the funding for the scholarship is limited and not guaranteed.
- The scholarships are open to full-time students who maintain a minimum 3.00 GPA.

The Alumni Scholarship Application:
- Deadline to apply is April 1, at noon.
- Everyone who applies gets some kind of scholarship.

Why wait? Apply to both scholarships to get your college education paid for, lessen the amount of loans you could need to take out, and pay less for your higher education.
“Apply, apply, apply. Our goal is to help students in their degree completion and help them financially,” said Whitney Palesano, director of Alumni Relations & University Development.
