USAO’s men’s soccer had a night to remember Friday as they played the #1 seeded MACU in the snow. The Drovers came in as the #3 seed in the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) Tournament Championship. The Drovers ended their season by losing to the top seeded MACU. Both teams had a strong first half with the game set in a scoreless tie at halftime.

Considering the weather, it was shocking that the Drovers remained outside in 30 degree weather for the full 15 minutes. Once the halftime ended, the Evangels returned to the field with spunk to score two goals against the Drovers.

Things took a turn for the worst when snow was sighted, and it began to come down faster as the game was coming to an end. Unfortunately for the Drovers, the cool breeze kept pushing the snow into their faces which made it more difficult to see. However, the weather didn’t stop the support from the bleachers, as USAO students traveled to Oklahoma City to catch the game and cheer on their Drovers.
