Editor-in-Chief Daniel Buster expresses his excitement for Opal On the Oval, which will be presented in one week.

Daniel Buster, Editor-in-Chief

Welcome back Drovers, I hope your short break was good one, now onto the last month of the trimester!

I do have one small housekeeping note I’d like to bring up. Some changes were made to Bea Bourland’s article “USAO Research Presented Scientific Discovery at ACS”, in order to make the scientific terminologies more accurate. I would recommend re-reading the article to have better understanding of our students’ accomplishments!

Now, in one short week The Trend and USAO’s Communication Department will be presenting Opal on the Oval! To ensure the event’s greatest success it was moved from this evening to next week, October 24th. We are so excited to see you there!

Lastly, on this week’s publications list, Gary Jackson features the weekly ultimate frisbee matches on the Oval, the USAO men’s golf team finish up their season, and Bea Bourland returns with an article about the supercomputer on campus. While we are certainly close to the finish line, the trimester is still far from over, and there is still plenty happening around the Oval!

Of course, we always welcome people wanting to be involved with The Trend, so please come join us at our next meeting, October 26th at 3:45 pm.

Daniel Buster is a fourth-year Communication major at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma
