The USAO Drover men’s basketball team will take on Wayland Baptist University (WBU) Saturday, Jan. 18 at 3 p.m. in the USAO Fieldhouse.

The Drovers are going into this game with a Sooner Athletic Conference record of 2-3, while the opposing Jack Rabbits are 3-1 in conference play.

The Drovers are coming off a conference loss against Texas Wesleyan Jan. 13. Wayland come to Chickasha straight from a loss by Mid-American Christian University in Plainview, Texas on Jan. 16.

USAO’s top scorer this season is Tyler Reynolds, senior from Eugene, Ore. with 183 points and Shavon Scott, senior from Milwaukee, Wis., is the next highest with a season score of 134.

The Drovers have struggled so far this season having played a total 13 conference and nonconference games and only winning five of those. The Drovers’ last two games were defeats of only nine points with the final scores being 80-71, against Southwestern Assembly of God and Texas Wesleyan.
