USAO Enrollment Is Expected To Increase In The Fall
June 18, 2014
USAO plans to welcome more students to campus due to an expected increase in enrollment for the fall semester.
Students here at USAO don’t realize how important enrollment is, not only to individual students, but to the university as well.
Compared to last summer, enrollment numbers this summer are the same. The numbers for the upcoming fall semester show an increase in enrolled students when compared to last fall.
Monica Trevino, vice president for enrollment management & student affairs, contributes the increase in enrollment to the Admissions Office at USAO attributes the expected increase to the involvement of other departments.
The Admissions Office’s recruiting cycle lasts for a period of 18 months, according to Trevino.
In this 18 months, Admissions counselors are able to develop and maintain relationships with incoming high school students who might have an interest in USAO.
“With the changes many of the departments made towards the recruitment process, enrollment will see an increase throughout the years,” said Trevino.
