Details On Drover Women’s Basketball Loss Against Oklahoma City

The Drover’s women’s basketball team played the Oklahoma City Stars on Saturday but faced defeat with a score of 86-55. At the end of the first quarter, the Stars were up 19-8. By halftime, the opposing women led 47-31. With ten minutes left in the game, the score was 64-39, leaving the Stars with the advantage. The final score was 86-55.

The star players of the Drovers were seniors Paige Pulliam, Rashelle Carr, and Brittany Elkins. Pulliam, a biology major from Newcastle, scored 20 points with seven rebounds. Carr, a physical education major from Duncan, scored 11 points with five rebounds. Elkins, physical education major from Waurika, helped score an additional nine points for the team.

The team will go on to play Mid-America Christian University from Oklahoma City Thursday evening. The game’s theme and encouraged apparel is green, hosted by the science and biology clubs.
