Creative Writing Club Writes its Story on Campus
The Creative Writing Club is new to campus, and its president Ty Astle wants to create a safe community for writers.

This year there has been a new addition to the clubs on campus- creative writing club. Created by student Ty Astle, the club has facilitated improving other student’s writing skills.
When talking to the club president Astle, a junior English major, he said the club has been doing very well. They have been working one on one on their skills, and are seeing nice improvements.
“Our primary goal is let writers free themselves from writer’s block and really work on whatever creative endeavor they’ve chosen,” said Astle.
He said they have a hope to try to get some of their member published and looking at some slam poetry venues to display their works.
Creative writing club meets every other Friday in Davis 226.
