Halloween Events in the OKC Area

Chickasha and OKC are jam-packed with spooky events, such as Bricktown’s Haunted Warehouse.

As the spookiest time of the year progresses, many of you will be making some Halloween plans. Along with the awesome Halloween events that will be on campus like Trunk-or-Treat or the annual Sigma Psi Omega Halloween dance, there are tons of events around Chickasha and the OKC area.

Here are some family-friendly and spooky events that are great for fun fall evenings.

Family-Friendly Events:

  • Reding Farm Corn Maze: Opened Sept. 30 and will go until Sunday, Nov. 13. You don’t have to go far because this family-friendly hay ride, maze and pumpkin patch is at, 614 Reding Road Chickasha, Okla., and you can contact them at 405-222-0624.
  • Brown’s Farm and Garden: This is another local company where you can get pumpkins for the family, as well as corn stalks. You can contact them at 405-448-1779.
  • Brick-or-Treat: This is a free trick or treating event that is open to the public. Kids under the age of 14 can come and trick or treat with the businesses of Bricktown on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 4p.m.- 7p.m. There will be free pumpkin painting and candy.
  • Arcadia Lake’s Storybook Forest: This is a family-friendly event hosted by the city of Edmond, Okla. It will be running every evening from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., from Sunday, Oct. 23, through Sunday, Oct. 30. There will be kid friendly storytelling, characters, hayrides and campfires.

Spooky Events:

  • Bricktown’s Haunted Warehouse: This event is running Friday, Oct. 21, through Monday, Oct. 31. The hours are Thursdays and Sundays from 7p.m.-11p.m. and 7p.m.- 12 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The event will be at the Bricktown Ballpark and the tickets are $15.
  • Frontier City Frightfest: Frightfest is occurring now through Sunday, Oct. 30, beginning around 7p.m. The Frightfest activities are free with park admission, with a $5 charge for the haunted house.
  • Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park: Located in Lawton, Okla. and running every Friday and Saturday from now until Saturday, Oct. 29, as well as Oct. 30 and 31. You can buy tickets at the booth from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be various activities for extra charges like mini golf, inflatables and paintball. Tickets can be ordered online.
  • The Sanctuary: Located in Oklahoma City, north of Frontier city and running every Friday and Saturday as well as Thursday, the week of Halloween. It opens at 7 p.m. and closes at different times depending on the day of the week. Tickets are $20 with different packages available.
