A Girl from Andros

Lights, Music, Action! “A Girl from Andros” is an abduction of a Roman comedy. USAO’s fall theater production will be held on November 19 and 20, starting at 7:30 pm in the Davis Hall Little Theater. Tickets are free for USAO students, while the general public will be $10. They will be available at the box office or by calling (405) 574-1310.
Two people you will see a lot in the show is senior Audrey Zyks, and freshman Avery Crawford.
Zyks will play Davos, a character that gets himself into a lot of trouble trying to save his master’s son, who Davos accidentally tricked into a wedding. Crawford will be playing Mysis, a servant and one of the main love interests.
“I really like my character, she is very funny, but if you want to find out more about her, then you’ll have to come see the show,” Crawford said.
“A Girl From Andros” is a Roman comedy adapted by Terence from two Greek plays in 166 B.C. The play will be performed in commedia masks.
“The play is hilarious and worth watching in my opinion,” Zyks said.
