Campus Corner wants to aide the local community and college students by providing healthier food options, a variety of beverages, and employment positions.

Located in Chickasha at 1601W Grand Ave., Campus Corner has been expanding its store front for the last 12 months and will continue to do so to better serve the community, according to the owner, Bassm Alzoubi. He said that this expansion will bring a beer cave, a seating area, two more bathrooms, and more diverse food options to the store’s customers.

Alzoubi said he is excited to introduce a meat smoker in the back part of the store. He will be smoking his own meat to include in the new food options. Other options will include in- house made salads, Champ’s chicken, pizza, seafood, and other vegetarian options. Alzoubi said he wants to find a balance between fried and healthy options.

While the renovations and expansion are not finished yet, Alzoubi and his staff said they are ready to show case their newly renovated business. Alzoubi said he is predicting that by the end of the year construction will be finished. A Grand Opening has been discussed, Alzoubi said no date has been set as of early December.

With the expansion, Alzoubi said there is potential to have more product. The expansion also opens more positions in the store and Alzoubi is looking for more hires. Currently, shifts are open in the mornings and evenings with pay at $10 an hour.
