University of Science and Arts (USAO) students held a peaceful protest on Friday, September 11, in front of Troutt Hall to show their support for faculty. This protest is in response to the Board of Regents meeting held Thursday, September 10, where regents unanimously voted to approve several new policies. Friday’s protest also follows a late-night protest held Thursday.
Students chanted for approximately an hour, directly across from Troutt Hall, the building housing the administrative offices of USAO.
Malik Roberts is a third-year communication major at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
